How come they replaced Energon with the Allspark in the live-action Transformers movie? just wondering?

How come Michael Bay and staff did not want to use Energon cubes as the energy source for the Autobots and Decepticons? Why did they replace with it the Allspark? Also why is Michael Bay trying to distance the movie franchise from the original as much as possible? does Michael Bay not like the Transformers franchise?How come they replaced Energon with the Allspark in the live-action Transformers movie? just wondering?The allspark is essentially the combined well of sparks that create individual personalities for the Transformers. It is actually a piece of Primus' spark. Energon is a type of fuel created for consumption by the transformers. The allspark can give life thus when it was dropped it launched out energy thus giving life to some of the local tech in the area. Each "artist" is open to interpretation, unfortunately Bay thought that people would be more accepting of them like this. He didn't think things like mass displacement would be an all around acceptable concept. He likes em he just did not have a childhood of them they way some of us did so he did what anyone looking to make $$ on something that has a lot of nostalgia and is still successful.How come they replaced Energon with the Allspark in the live-action Transformers movie? just wondering?
I believe in the first draft of the script, the Allspark was called the Energon cube but the fans had a **** fest and they changed it to the Allspark. Also, the writers are huge Beast Wars/Beast Machine fans so they took inspiration from those shows rather then the Original G1 cartoon.



Also, Energon cubes are more like food then a life source, which is what the Allspark is supposed to be. It would the equivalent to Vector Sigma from the G1 cartoon.



I think Michael Bay wanted to create a new story that could stand alone as it's own 'universe'. The thing about TFs is that it's always being reinvented in some way. Each new cartoon is it's own with little to no relation to the original. He's said repeatedly that he didn't want the movies to seen cartoony. It wouldn't make as much money if they stuck to the original. Just like how with that 'seeker of truth' show they are butchering the books so that people can understand the plot.
