What's the best option to travel from Times Square to the New York Mets stadium?

What's the best option to travel from Times Square to the New York Mets stadium (Roosevelt Ave, New York), and how much would it cost me?

Thanks a lot! What's the best option to travel from Times Square to the New York Mets stadium?Take the 7 Subway line. It's cost you $2.00.What's the best option to travel from Times Square to the New York Mets stadium?Take the #7 train (Purple Line on the subway map) from Times Square to Mets-Willest Point (formerly Willest Points-Shea Stadium). The fare on the subway is $2 each way ($4 round trip). However, if you traveling to the CitiField on or after June 28th, please note the fare will go to $2.25 one way ($4.50 round trip).

If you're going to a night game, I would recommend taking the #7 express train from Times Square to Mets-Willest Point. The train runs express from Queensboro Plaza to Willest Point, stopping at Woodside-61st Street, Junction Blvd and Mets-Willest Point.

Another option to get to Citifield is by taking the LIRR's Port Washington Branch from Penn Station. The one way peak fare on the Port Washington Branch will cost you $6.50, while the off peak fare will cost you $4.50.

I hope this information is very helpful.

Good luck
