Which month would be the best to travel to Florida?

My husband and I are planning to take our 4-year-old daughter to Florida but we are a bit scared of hearing so many storms in Florida. Which month would be the best to travel there without worrying about the flight getting delayed or canceled? Which beach should be nice for relaxing?Which month would be the best to travel to Florida?October is the best month. Have been there and by that time the largest threat of hurricanes are over, not completely, but less chance. I lived in Pensacola for years and the beaches are absolutely beautiful but now are scattered with condos. I also enjoyed Daytona. The beaches there are not as pristeen but very enjoyable. Other than that you could travel to Tampa or Key West. But my choice would be Pensacola or Destin Beach to enjoy the beauty. In October it is still very very warm. Biker week is no problem. They pretty much stick to themselves and you have all the surrounding areas to go to near Daytona that are kid friendly.Which month would be the best to travel to Florida?October - December.....

Do not come in summer....too many people down here and the traffic is horrid....also too hot for many people.....

I noticed that a lot of people are saying Oct. If you go to daytona make sure you check the dates because they have a big motorcycle rally in daytona in Oct. I would love to be going to biketober fest but I don't think that is somewhere you want to take a 4 year old.
