I want to travel to egypt at the end of march 28ish till the 14th-21st of april. My passport runs out on the 15th of august will it need renewing. By the way I want to travel to sharm.Can i travel to egypt in april if my passport runs out in august?the egyptian embassy ask for you to have 6 months on your passport when you leave the country, i would highly reccomend you renew your passport before travelling you have plenty of time to do so and if you are British you can apply on line, they will then send you the form for you to return with the documents etc,Can i travel to egypt in april if my passport runs out in august?
it would be best that you renew it before you leave to Egypt. You should always have your passoport renewed 6 months before its expiry. I have friends who are Egyptian and they're grounded for the while in Canada because their passports run out next month...so just to be safe renew it while you can.
However, i think that as you're returning to your home country it doesn't really matter.
