We want to travel from benfleet on a saturday to get to thorpe park.

Can anybody explain what route/trains we should be getting?

Thorpe Park website says that Staines is the nearest station. From benfleet national rail suggests Benfleet-westham westham - waterloo

waterloo-staines with the jouney taking two hours. (I used next saturday to do the search) Then you need to take a bus so the whole thing will be pretty long.
