Visitors must hold sufficient funds. Immigration officers can request visitors travelling to Ireland (Rep. of) to show return/onward tickets or prove their intention to travel by other means of transportation. A person not holding tickets, must be able to prove to the immigration officer, the intention to leave the country, or otherwise risk being denied entry.
