Me and my children have dependent passports and I would like to go back to the states..do I need to get new passports or can I travel with the one that I have? How do I travel with a dependents passport?Jersey,
You can travel just fine with your passports. There is no need to spend the money to get tourist passports. Having lived overseas for almost 10 years, I have NEVER had a problem with using it, traveling all over Europe, and back and forth to the states. If you notice, it looks exactly the same as a tourist passport, except for the SOFA stamp in the back. No one would ever know if they didn't look for it.
Have fun on your trip! How do I travel with a dependents passport?Contact the airport in your area and ask this question..There arepeople in these airports that specifically help military dependents and soldiers...Also call the MAC terminal..Depending on whether you are flying back by paying for your plane tickets or taking the Army MAC flights back determines what kind of passport you need to travel.....
Good luck....How do I travel with a dependents passport?youll be able to travel with those just fine. just make sure to bring ID too.How do I travel with a dependents passport?
are you referring to the No Fee one?
those are good for travel ONLY back and forth from the States to the Duty station country, so as long as you are not planning any side trips, you should be okay.
HOWEVER they DO target you as military dependents, and therefore can be singled out in the case of terrorist activity. To be on the safe side, you should also have a Tourist passport that does not give away your affiliation.
